Skillfuel.com is an online recruitment platform that launched in a highly competitive niche. To help the site gain ground, we created a content marketing campaign that was focused on HR issues like sourcing and attrition.
We performed site-wide search engine optimization for Skillfuel Software and then focused on how to bring them to the top of their very competitive niche. We reconfigured their internal linking structure to increase their pages authority number.
We focused on their key goals and problems that they dealt with, primarily Attrition, Retention, Sourcing & Onboarding. Our core strategy needed a thorough keyword research and great keyword metrics.
With a minimum of 1500 words for each blog, we then focused on the answers to the questions behind the search intent. For example, someone typing “LinkedIn Recruiter cost” on Google isn’t just looking for a price tag, but also the benefits of using LinkedIn Recruiter that would justify the expenditure.
We went “snippet hunting”, to bag that coveted SERPs snippet that earns blogs a spot over than the #1 result on the SERPs. We came up with “how much does LinkedIn recruiter cost?” and “what is a backfill position?”.
And it worked, in both cases!
